Very well made. Unfortunately there are some older HVAC units that are not compatible. The one weird thing is that the apps that can control it are Nest app and Google Home app. Google needs to go ahead and migrate everything away from the nest app to Google home. This thermostat relies on your furnace to power it. That being said, if you don’t have a brand new heater it will cause problems. My stars say it all. A couple of notes that I was initially confused about. The voltage requirement is 24VAC which is provided by virtually all conventional heating plants. There are exceptions but deal mainly with exotic systems.
